"I want you to know there's nothing... nothing to be afraid of.
On one side, there's life. And on the other...there's life, too."
~~Andrew, Random Acts

Pay It Forward in
Memory of John Dye

John Dye meant so much to each of us at the John/Andrew Bucket Brigade.  He inspired us and encouraged us.  For some of us, he was our first crush.  For others, he helped us find our faith.  He brought all of us here to this group where so many friendships have formed.  We will be forever grateful to him for everything he gave us.

It aches to know that he is no longer walking the earth with us and we pray for his family, friends, and all who love him.  However, we believe that he is now safely and joyfully Home and enjoying the fullness of God's love.  We also believe that, since he had such an amazing impact on our lives, we should do what we can to carry on his legacy.  So keep an eye on this space for special ways we're going to reach out with the love and compassion we so admired in John.  On January 31st, John's birthday, some of us reached out to our communities in his honor and were truly blessed by the experience.  From Valentine's Day to St. Patrick's, we had a food and goods drive for the homeless.  But any time is a good time for random acts of kindness done in John's memory!

In addition, this section of onthisside.net will be the permanent home of our tributes to John.  You can click the dove graphic seen in the upper, right corner of many of our pages to come back here whenever you like.  These pages will permanently be considered "works in progress" and if you feel like adding to them, contact me and I will update accordingly.

Thank you and God bless,
Jenni
