Help us get *all* of Touched by an Angel on DVD!!!
Update: Season 9 to DVD on Nov. 19th!  This page is here for archival purposes only now.  Yay!

Did you enjoy watching "Fear Not!" this Christmas?

Did you grin goofily when Andrew first appeared in "The One That Got Away"?

Did you cry during "The Journalist"?

Did you *really* grin goofily during "My Dinner with Andrew" because there were *two* utterly attractive AODs on the screen?

And did you sigh sadly as Andrew walked off into the woods during "Beautiful Dreamer"?

Wait...  You haven't seen "Beautiful Dreamer" (Andrew with side burns!) in a long time have you?  Nor "Jagged Edges" (Andrew with a baby!)?  Have you virtually forgotten that Andrew chopped his hair off?

Update: Season 5 is out!!!  The entire 5th season was released on DVD on July 24th, 2012.  Happy day!  Update 2: And Season 6 is coming on September 25th!!!  Amazon and other sites are accepting pre-orders.  You can read more about it and see the cover art hereBut what about Seasons 7 through 9?  Update 3: Season 7 is coming on April 23!  Cover art is hereOkay, but now what about Seasons 8 and 9?  ;-)  You're stuck with old VHSes if you're lucky and a few select episodes on the Faith, Hope, Love, Holiday collections.  So we hope you'll join JABB in our campaign to get the remaining seasons of Touched by an Angel on DVD.  Please look over the ideas below.  If you have others, please let us know!  When contacting the companies, please take care to express how excited you are to buy Season 7, how much you enjoy the previous DVD sets, and how much you hope the remaining 2 seasons will follow swiftly.  Update 4: Scratch that about Season 8!  It's coming to DVD on July 30th!  You can pre-order from Amazon here if you wish.  So now what?  Keep asking (nicely!) until we get Season 9 on DVD, too.  Imagine having the whole series!  Yippee!!!  Almost there!!!  Update 5 and final?: Season 9 is coming on November 19th, 2013.  So... this page is merely around for archival purposes now.

First, some guidelines:

1.  Be polite and enthusiastic.  We want these companies to *want* to listen to us.  Again, say how much you enjoy the DVDs that are already out and how you're looking forward to Season 8.  This shows that you're invested and paying attention.

2.  Avoid abbreviations.  Obviously, we know what TBAA and AOD stand for.  The person reading your email/letter may not.  Spell it out.

3.  Do not complain about the prices of the DVD sets, packaging, whatever.  It could make it sound like you won't, in the end, buy the DVDs.  Contact me if you need to vent.  I have no power.  ;-)

4.  Referring to episodes and specific elements of the show is great!  It shows you truly love this show.  But get the main point across right away: you want this last season on DVD.

5.  Put "Touched by an Angel DVDs" or something similar in your email subject line.  Even if the recipient doesn't actually read your email, they'll at least know there's interest.  (Thanks, Nicole, for suggesting this.)

6.  If you hear back, let us know!

5.  Amazon.com-  I've heard that Amazon reports to companies what yet-to-be-released items are being "watched."  I don't know if that's true but it takes very little time so why not sign up to be notified?

6.  My local paper also runs a syndicated entertainment column wherein people write in and ask about DVD releases of films and TV shows.  Check to see if your paper has one and contact them, too!
