Jenni's JABB 208 Playlist

Here are some Christmas songs.  I would have liked to have been a lil more varied and had songs representing holidays other than Christmas but, as usual, my time was pinched.  If you find a free download of a holiday song you'd like me to add here, just lemme know!

1.  "I'll Be Home for Christmas" ~ Aimee Mann
Went with my theme of "everyone together," I thought.
2.  "Angels from the Realms of Glory" ~ Christmas Celebration
Clearly needed some good angel-themed tunes.
3.  "Silent Night'" ~ Mahalia Jackson
Della Reese used to tour with her so it seemed more than appropriate to include her here.  I wish it weren't a remix but oh well.
4.  "Shepherds" ~ Mailloux Christmas
I was in the mood for something not quite traditional.  I'd never heard this one before.
5.  "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" ~ Trekky Yuletide Orchestra
The TBAA ep by the same name had been mentioned by Yvette on the YG so I wanted to include a rendition of it.  So here it is instrumentally.  The band name also cracked me up.
6.  "We Three Kings" ~ Two Harps
So you can imagine Andrew singing along as in "A Second Chance Christmas."
7.  "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence" ~ Glenn Hardy
I first heard a version of this on a Pure Moods CD and just really liked the tune.  Not even quite sure what its origin is.
8.  "Christmas Around the World" ~ Troy Cory
My best attempt at being diverse.  Learn how to say "Merry Christmas" in several countries!
9.  "Angels We Have Heard on High" ~ Robin Kochis
I thought this was a lovely rendition of the carol.
