Your own words on why you're recommending this CD:  Although this does sound like the email address for an angel of death, this CD is the newest work by Ronan Keating (who also sings with Boyzone).  He has put out a number of crossovers with Boyzone, but as a stand alone artist, he is also quite good and his songwriting abilities have been demonstrated quite adequately on this CD.  He not only has written and performed songs, but he has also presented old standards that I remember from my youth like Neil Diamond’s song ‘Hello Again’.  This would make Mr. Diamond proud, because it certainly hit me on an emotional level the very first time I heard it.  Beautifully performed and just a treat to the ears.  Of course, his singing ‘Iris’ (which I heard the first time on the ‘City of Angels’ soundtrack) is just as emotional and beautiful as the original track.  It’s not just his singing the songs, but it’s some mesmerizing vocals..  Aside from that, it is really hard for me to select my favorite track on this CD, simply because over all, most of the tracks are really good.  I will admit that initially, I was drawn to the CD because of the title.  It seemed to fit in with my being a fan of TBAA.  Of course, I do like the song ‘Friends in Time’, and ‘Bring you Home’  Who among Angel of Death fans can resist the following lyrics anyway:  ’When you’re lost and there’s no where to go, And your heart bears a heavy load, Don’t give up cos you are not alone, Cos I am always here to bring you home’.  Fantastic melodies, fantastic lyrics.  His songwriting skills alone show that this fellow is more than just a front runner for a boy-band, but someone who really knows how to present a song.  I’m completely impressed with his musical abilities.  Gives me hope for today’s popular music genre.  Good job, Ronan!  Take a listen at his website, then you’ll see what I mean.  :-)
